About Rockin’ 2A Ranch

Rockin’ 2A Ranch develops weaned heifers into pregnancy-checked bred heifers for cattle producers. Our annual program starts with fall purchases and follows a deliberate cycle of winter development, spring breeding, and late-summer pregnancy checks.

A Season-by-Season Program

From December through March, winter feed and a health program support target breeding weights. Before spring breeding, heifers receive a veterinary exam and reproductive tract score. Breeding uses AI synchronization or bull turnout.

Buying Bred Heifers

Bred heifers are sold from August through October with documented vaccinations and calving ease genetics. Sales include private treaty purchases and consignments to fall bred heifer sales, with optional delivery to buyers. Browse current listings for availability and purchase details.
